The Village Wit by Mark Beyer advert

I put up a small advert on Facebook; cheap at 45 cents for each 1,000 impressions, maxing out for four days at $40. Seems a decent way to start and to see if Facebook is a viable marketing tool for books.

Next step is to get the book reviewed by online and print outlets. Perhaps a tougher sell to the traditional print segment, as lots of reviewers still condescend toward self-published books. And for good reason, often enough, as there is some very bad stuff out there, by my estimation.

But The Village Wit is different, and in a professional package, and properly designed, PROOFREAD, etc. All beside the point of well written (if I may be so bold to say).
