Day 18: 45 Years Old Today, 16,380 days to go (if I’m lucky!)

Well, I made it to 45 years old. Halfway “there”, whatever that might mean. I find myself looking both ways, sometimes double that, when I cross the street or over tram tracks. Crushed beneath a vehicle is not the way I’d like to be remembered. I think, in a pinch, I can still dive out of the way. No Tom Brady knees here, my friend. I’m quick as a wood elf.
So besides the morbid black humor, I had a fun day today, without classes since St James is still working on the full-timers’ schedules. I wrote a few beautiful sentences this morning. And then read some beautiful sentences in a book. Then saw some beauty in trees and flowers at a park. And some architecure as I looked out over Prague and all its spires. Then had a beautiful martini when I got home.

Not a bad day.

Glad you had a good day, such an up spirit you have. I miss that, and our martini’s.
